The Puget Sound Chapter of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network is Forming. Young nonprofit
professionals in the region are invited to become a part of this growing national organization that
is dedicated to supporting and developing tomorrow's leaders.
The goals of the new Puget Sound community are to promote the recruitment, development, and
retention of young professionals in the nonprofit sector and to enhance and support a strong,
dynamic nonprofit community.

The History of YNPN
YNPN began in San Francisco in 1997 and now has twenty communities across the country including New
York, Washington DC, Chicago, Denver, Austin, and Los Angeles. YNPN offers young and emerging
nonprofit leaders the assistance they need to realize their full potentials. Though the
organization welcomes people of all ages, most of members are in their 20s and 30s or are
transitioning into the nonprofit sector.
